Please accompany us at the downtown Holiday Inn meeting room for TU's monthly meeting. Wallis Run, a local stream, has undergone stream improvements, and a presentation on that project is being done.

Our weekly meeting to involve fly tying steelhead patterns, and finishing a steelhead video.

Tue October 6, 2009 - 7pm Watershed Meeting
The Rose Valley/Mill Creek Watershed October meeting will feature Matt Rhodes, a marine biologist with the NOAA. He will be guest speaking about the "Effects of Human Land Usage on the Aquatic Environment".

Wed April 22, 2009 - Susquehanna TU Meeting
Monthly TU meeting to be held at Montoursville HS. Cody and Erika will attend.

Wed April 22, 2009 - Earth Day Table
LEAF is sponsoring Earth Day events in Pennington Lounge from 6-9 to include potting, tie dying, free food and other environmentally related activities. Flyco will have a table offering information about smart and environmentally friendly angling.

Sun April 19, 2009 - Stream Cleanup
Stream cleanup of Rauchtown Run at Ravensburg State Park. We will be recruiting the help of other organizations including Leaf, TU, CWI, E.Hilles, and others.

Rafting trip down Pine Creek through the PA Grand Canyon!

Sat April 4, 2009 - Medeival Fair
Held on the Quad. Flyco will have a booth setup, tying the very earliest of fly patterns. Will also have information available about fly fishing in the 1400 and 1500's!


Sun March 29, 2009 - Accepted Students Day
Held in the Rec Center for new students. Flyco will have a booth setup, trying to recruit.


Sat/Sun March 21/22, 2009 - TU Trout Kickoff
The local TU chapter is hosting their annual Trout Kickoff at the firehall next to Walmart. Fishing and hunting vendors will have booths, as well as Flyco! We will raffle off a dozen flies tied by Cody.
