The sisters of Gamma Delta Sigma have always enjoyed
our work with both the community, the college, and other organizations. The
sisters are actively involved in service projects such as Adopt-A-Highway,
Ronald McDonald House, donating clothes to the Salvation Army, and Big
Brothers/Big Sisters. Every year Gamma Delt holds an
auction in memory of one of their sisters who passed away from Hodgkins
Disease, Brandy Sudol. The auction is held on campus and the proceeds benefit
the Brandy Sudol Scholarship Fund and. Gamma Delta Sigma is also
quite aware of their academics as well. They help each or their sisters by
tutoring each other whenever possible. The sisters are also highly involved
socially here at Lycoming. They have sponsored dances with various other
organizations that were open to the whole campus. They have also held a
Spirit of Veteran's Day Ceremony to honor local veterans, and a "Spirit
of Sisterhood" PDR to celebrate sisterhood among all houses on campus. |
