What is SPS?

The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is an organization for any student with an interest in Physics. We are a division of the American Institute of Physics and there are more then 6,000 of us. Watch out, we are everywhere! Anyone interested in joining is encouraged and welcome. To join, contact one of our officers or a physics faculty member. We also have a physics honor society called ΣΠΣ or Sigma Pi Sigma.

Sigma Pi Sigma

Sigma Pi Sigma is the National Physics Honor Society. It exists to honor outstanding scholarship in physics, to encourage interest in physics among students at all levels, to promote an attitude of service of its members towards their fellow students, colleagues, and the public, and to provide a fellowship of persons who have excelled in physics.

It is that time of year again! Time for the SPS Holiday party at Dr. Kulp's house. The party will begin at 6pm on December 10 and last until 9 pm. Contact Dr. Kulp for more info.
